Why hello sun

The sun showed it's face today, which made for a beautiful Colorado day. Work was great. Day two of being an elopian and I don't think I will turn back. Actually, I am positive I won't. This job is amazing. I got my e-mail account set up and was able to start some work. I even ventured down to Cindy, our receptionist to get some office supplies. My desk was just a bit too bare. Now it sports a nice lime green post-it's pad. I designed 3 sunglasses today and will have the samples in hopefully by the end of the month. It was great to mock up designs and set up orders. I can't wait until they come in so I can see how they look.

The design group took a break this afternoon and walked along the creek today. Before we walked out the door we picked a pair of sunglasses to wear on our walk. I went for the diamond shape sun G's, as I like to call them. I am sure everyone on the trail thought we were a crazy bunch, but it was nice to be able to enjoy the sun just for a few minutes. We also ate lunch outside and I helped everyone reminisce back to their good 'ole college days.

After work we had some Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza. Chicken, artichoke, tomato, and basil pizza. mmMMMmm good. Then I talked to my lovely mother to keep her updated on the happenings and enjoyed a nice sunset with aunt Mary and uncle Pete on the front porch. Ever since then I have been in bed winding down for the night. I am extremely exhausted and it is only 10:3PM. Happy Friday everyone!
