A day full of design, frisbee, and red lobster

Another sunny day full of white giants floating in the sky. The day went by way too fast. I started off taking photos in the lab with the help of my co-worker Sara. I took photos of different styles of sunglasses and hats. Then I got to design my first hat and pick out the types of fabric and embellishments I wanted the hat to be made of. The hat I designed is for Cirque du Soleil. Hopefully they like it. It was a lot of fun to pick out fabric samples and match them together in the design lab, then create a mock up. Cirque is definitely a fun company to design stuff for. They are so whimsical. On our 10 minute break, the design team went outside and tossed the frisbee for a bit, which was a lot of fun and helped get our exercise in for the day.

After work I met up with my aunt and uncle at my uncle's work and drove together to uncle Pete's mom's. Kathleen has been like a second grandmother to me since I was little. Every time I come out to Colorado we get together for an art day at least once. We all went to dinner including Uncle Pete's brother Paul. We ate at Red Lobster. I had never been there before and the food was deli sh. I had Maui Luau Salmon and Shrimp along with a decorative Berry Mango daiquiri. OOOooOO It was so good. Aunt Mary has a picture with me and my very tall daiquiri. I'll have to post it to this post tomorrow.

When we went back to Kathleen's place, with the help of a friendly neighbor, we took a family portrait in front of the fireplace. I really wish I remember her neighbor's name. She was one of the sweetest lady's I have ever met. She showed us a picture four generations strong. Her, her daughter, her granddaughter, and her great granddaughter all on mother's day. It was the nicest photos to see. I hope one day I can live to see all of my children, grandchildren, and children. That is if I do ever have kids.

So it was a wonderful evening and again it is 10:30PM and I am exhausted. It might be the altitude as well though that is tuckering me out. Tomorrow we are going to the Disc Dog show and stopping by to see some Australian Shepherd puppies. Tomorrow is going to be a photo adventure! Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
